Mia Nägeli works as a writer, musician and artist on pop, queer feminism, illness and trauma. She is a columnist for the Swiss magazine «Saiten» and part of the duo CAPSLOCK SUPERSTAR and the collective Dieter Meiers Rinderfarm. As an artist, she works with autotheory and de- and recontextualises the internet, pop and her own experience in text, film, installation and performance. As a musician, she has played around 150 concerts in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Czechia and released music on a multitude of labels. Her texts have appeared in various newspapers and magazines and she publishes her own artist books and zines. Mia Nägeli also works with installations and performances. She lives in Vienna and works in Vienna and Basel and is currently writing her debut novel.
